What is a process?
“A series of actions that you take in order to achieve a result.” – Cambridge Dictionary
A process is when something changes or develops, such as how we solve a problem, manage deliveries, develop a product, manage community projects, or wash clothes.
Processes consist of the following
- Processes/Activities
- Input/Output
- Repetitive flow
If we take the process of washing clothes as an example, we have a basket of dirty clothes (Input). What we want at the end and as a result of the process is a basket of clean clothes (Output). The need for clean clothes the trigger to the process.
